Frosch Gallery

Your OneDrive photos, as a gallery on your phone

Frosch Gallery shows the photos and videos in your OneDrive as one timeline, with your folders as albums, daily memories and search, without the photos filling up your phone.

How it works

Sign in with your Microsoft account and choose the OneDrive folder your photos live in. The app shows OneDrive's own thumbnails and only fetches the full photo when you open it. OneDrive is where your photos live; the app is a window onto them.

Turn on camera upload, and new photos from your phone's camera are added to the OneDrive folder you choose.

Private by design

  • The app talks only to Microsoft. We run no server, and there is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party crash reporting.
  • Place names are looked up on your phone from a built-in list of cities. Your photos' coordinates are not sent anywhere.
  • Memories, duplicates and search are worked out on your phone.

Built so nothing disappears

The app gains new abilities one step at a time, and each step can only do what it needs:

  • 1. Read your OneDrive and show your photos.
  • 2. Upload new camera photos. An existing file is never overwritten, and every file is checked afterwards: same size and same hash as on the phone.
  • 3. Free up space on your phone, only for files OneDrive has been shown to have.
  • 4. Delete and move from the app, always with confirmation and to OneDrive's recycle bin.
